Re: Who Sucked the Irish Sea Dry (Landmark)
Looks like Moses was in action - the parting of the waters between ourselves and GB! Maybe it has dried up! Anyone know why the Irish Sea landmark segments were deleted, by whom and for what reason? I noticed this too over the last day or so (and yet, the physical sea is definitely still there :) )...

Re: What Speed Cameras?
Somebody is adding Speed Cameras to the Dublin maps. There is one on Aston Quay which does not exist and another on the N11 (R138) at the Mount Merrion Avenue junction which does not exist either. The first one offers a countdown to the camera location on approach, but the latter does not. Anybody ...

Re: Forum Problems
Currently almost all forum problems of the list are 'solved'. Are there still people experience problems? Actually yes - there is one problem that I don't think anybody has noticed: The Ireland forum has no subforums (good) but its entry in the Country (Language) Forums list shows that it appears t...

Re: Wiki updating consensus: update
Based on some practical Waze editing experiences over the past year I will have a number of logical proposals to make, for consideration by fellow editors with regard to the updating of the Ireland Wiki in the coming weeks. Could I respectfully suggest that one draft proposed Ireland Wiki be drawn ...

Wiki updating consensus: update
Just following on from my previous wiki updating posts: I've sent a PM to every Waze editor I could identify or think of (about 35 of you!) to solicit opinions about the wiki updates I plan to make in about a week. I probably didn't catch everybody, so if you're a Waze editor in Ireland and you didn...

Re: Geometry node disappears.
Often when I'm editing I'll click a road and it turns blue, like it should, but doesn't show me the geometry nodes or the info that goes with the road. It happens randomly when scrolling the map or zooming in and out. I sometimes find myself refreshing the page 2~3 times per minute as I have found ...

Re: Belfast, Northern Ireland
Personally I think MrGrumpy's idea is quite a good one, just name a few streets in the heart of each area with the 'suburb' name and leave everything else as just Belfast but then on the outskirts name them as distinct areas, Dundonald, Dunmurry, etc... [...] PS. anyone from anywhere please jump in...

Re: Wiki updating consensus 3: road types
Sometimes have seen junctions where all roads are appropriate to label at the same level, but the main 2 are at a tight angle (e.g. a cross roads which isn't quite + shaped, where the main road comes from the south and turns west), and i want to head straight on, (north), the client doesn't know to...

Re: Wiki updating consensus 2: road names
Yes, "N" is spoken as North - this annoys me. [...] No brackets definitely looks better. Cardinals are vital to include in the finished wiki (and maps obviously). Kinda surprised about the "N=north" Since clearing my TTS cache (I think I mentioned this in one of the other thread...
