Re: Phantom Speed Cameras
Hi, In early April I queried the National Roads Authority on the use of fixed speed cameras in Ireland. I re-contacted them again today and stuck with it until I could ascertain some facts. I was comprehensively assured that there are now no 'fixed speed cameras' in use in Ireland. About twenty old ...

Re: Who Sucked the Irish Sea Dry (Landmark)
"The waters came together again" That east wind has dissipated!
The Irish Sea landmark has been reinstated. Just hope we haven't infringed on territorial limits and fishing rights
Landmarks are important in the whole wide arena of Waze.
Good luck (Ádh mór oraibh)

Re: approving speed cameras in Ireland
Safety/Speed Camera locations on An Garda Síochána (Irish National Police) website http://www.garda.ie should in my opinion have an appropriate approved Waze speed camera located in that area, whether mobile or fixed. This should be incorporated in our Wiki guidelines, after suitable discussion with...

Who Sucked the Irish Sea Dry (Landmark)
Looks like Moses was in action - the parting of the waters between ourselves and GB!
Maybe it has dried up!
Anyone know why the Irish Sea landmark segments were deleted, by whom and for what reason?
Not too many funnies now!

Re: Wiki updating consensus: update
Fellow Waze Members Ireland, Based on some practical Waze editing experiences over the past year I will have a number of logical proposals to make, for consideration by fellow editors with regard to the updating of the Ireland Wiki in the coming weeks. Could I respectfully suggest that one draft pro...

Questionable Editing Feat Dublin 2 Wed 27 Feb 2013
In the space of approximately five minutes this evening Wed 27 February 2013, 1474 edits were recorded in the general Dublin 2 area on the segments indicated below without apparently enhancing anything on the actual Waze map. There are tell-tale factors that strongly indicates the edits were not con...

Re: Towns and cities in Ireland
This is a brilliant idea and an excellent logical online aid to completion/progress tracking of towns and cities in Ireland with a population of 1,500 plus. Thanks David for exceptional initiative that helps to make Waze in Ireland even better. All other countries should take note! I've added detail...

Re: Map issues,
Hi no1partymarty , Looks like your client device might have a problem, or indeed it could also be a network issue in the locality. If you are using a Blackberry, it has a history of problems - it is a legacy device. I understand Waze still have no developers working on this Operating System (OS). Pl...
