Anybody with 1st hand info on construction area at 170/5? Topic is solved
These NB onramp segments at Roscoe, marked for construction due to finish in March, may or may not be open, as an editor attempted to reattach them but REALLY didn't succeed. I removed the offending bits (including a One Way segment going the wrong direction...), but would be interested to know if i...

Re: Misplaced, but appropriate comments
Thanks for the comments, guys.
Found another one yesterday.
My only comment is that one of these actually can be fixed because of the excellent description the user left, so that will be taken care of and marked Solved.

Re: Updates.... Why?
Is there any way, besides deliberately choosing a "safe" setting, to keep a geo-wiping tool from touching nodes within a certain distance of a junction? Or even just ignoring the 1st or 1st/2nd node(s) next to a junction altogether? I presume that this would not be a useful tool for segme...

Misplaced, but appropriate comments
Twice in two days I've seen URs come up with comments regarding an issue (one map error related, one just a usual front/back of the address issue) where the comment was placed on a drive in the Los Angeles area, while the point being referenced was 20 miles/35 miles to the East. Is there some mechan...

Re: Why do people hate online maps?
Ran in to a conundrum last week, which I thought at first was a trap, but turned out to be more complex. Google, Mapquest and the LA County Assessor online (which clearly states it is not official, but usually has some good data on tract maps) all had a street named Sandall Lane. Official signage on...

Re: Updates.... Why?
Thanks! Leave it to mathematicians... :D Just for fun and enlightenment, here's another interactive demonstration of the principle which, if you try both curves, shows that it's still going to be a very subjective tool. In one, you can get the epsilon up to between 3 and 4 while still retaining (wha...

Re: Updates.... Why?
skbun- Your bookmarklet is almost exactly what I've been thinking about the last few days. I was thinking there could be some sort of integration of junction angles versus sub-segment (geonode-to-geonode) length and check over, say, three or five nodes. I don't know what you did, but it seems a lot ...

Re: [Script] Colour Highlights for Segments - v1.6.2 Apr 201
One more thank you for this great script, and of course, another inquiry/feature request... :) I don't know if it's possible, but I'd love to have CH indicate segments stacked on top of one another, especially when they're both set at the same Road Level. Obviously, this would indicate a small secti...

Re: Level 5 -North Hollywood, CA Topic is solved
Thanks! Assuming you're talking about the Chandler segments, I'm beginning to think those should have a lock, too, as I've fixed them at least once, maybe twice, before.
