Re: Stray segments - can they be eliminated automatically?

Support... can you verify the statement that stray recorded but not named segments DO get deleted after a period of time? I don't see any evidence of it...

Re: Remember View
Many others have also asked for this to be fixed... not sure if this is on the developer's "road map" or not.

Re: Mass editing of all roads in city
pmsummer: At this point, I wouldn't worry about going back and changing the citynames. When the technical support people first told us to put the brackets around county names, they also said there'd be a way to do a mass update for us when they do introduce the new "county" field, so that ...

Re: Wazing train routes / railway lines - worthwhile ^
Unfortunately, with a wiki-style product like Waze, there will ALWAYS be a few people who insist on Wazing the railroads, which then show up as unknown segments on the map. If you add them as "railway lines" it at least prevents new segments from being loaded every time the next guy tries ...

Re: Making an existing junction a roundabout
I'm really not sure what happens in these cases... I've made a post on here in the past asking about this, but it wasn't replied to by support, so I'm still waiting on this too... It would be nice if there was some way to highlight a circular/oval bit of road and "make" it a roundabout, be...

Welcome to both of you...
Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions. We were all newbies ourselves, not many months ago.

Re: Not showing slow traffic.
I too, would also like to hear an update about the 'passive traffic reporting' feature... I regularly get stuck in traffic now with no automatically-generated reports. Is it now that we HAVE to hit the button to get the report to automatically generate? This is a step backwards IMHO - make it like i...

Re: Roundabout Naming Convention
I normally don't label it at all, unless it has a specific name like the Hogarth Roundabout in London, or the "Magic Roundabout" (which was really fun to map!)

Re: Map image quality - north Wales / Wrexham area
I'm not staff, but I'm guessing the answer is "no", as after they import the new "base maps" for the UK (which is scheduled for May IIRC, they won't be as necessary as they seem at the moment...)
