Re: Live Map - Get Directions - To/From Dublin
Hi Leo, Hi Arthur, I've actually added (and locked!) a very small road in the middle of the GPO (after reading your post) and put it in 'Dublin'. It will be interesting to see if this has a beneficial effect. Leo Works great for country fellas like me! Hope the ghost segments of the '16 Rising folk ...

Re: 1 waze account for 2 devices?
Does the server identify or take any action while the account is editing and actually at the same time the same account client is out and on a journey in a long-haul truck, taxi or other mode of travel? Why should that be a problem, it's not like the phone is surgically attached to it's owner*. *un...

Re: 1 waze account for 2 devices?
The server won't allow 2 connections and whilst it might appear that candies and munching are double-counting the proper tally is taken by the server and only one set will be counted. via Tapatalk Okay - good, thanks for that. Does the server identify or take any action while the account is editing...

Re: 1 waze account for 2 devices?
I had two clients running on two phones (droid + iphone) on the same account once just to test which phone was faster and more accurate (Droid beat Iphone hands down). I noticed that I saw myself on the map AND I got double points for the trip. Other than that, no issues. I appreciate that "Bo...

Re: M6 duplication south of Horseleap
Compliments on Cork Map. The country is littered with Ghost Road Segments (GRS). In my opinion editor actions do not solely contribute to generation of such ghost segments on roads and railroads. I think it has more to do with a software design flaw. I do believe however that some actions may inadve...

Re: M6 duplication south of Horseleap
Hi David, My experience is that if an orange colour remains on the road segment or an adjoining road segment after saving, it has been an indicator that a ghost road segment has formed. Did not happen consistently though! At the times it occurred that I became aware of, which one must be alert for, ...

Warning Possible Lack of Accuracy in Satellite Aerial Images
I refer to notes on the map warning other editors to check GPS Points for correct road alignment where satellite imagery appears offset. With respect, maybe this is an appropriate time to remind editors of a possible lack of accuracy in satellite aerial imagery , which goes as follows:- "It is ...
