And of course these 'ramps' that were added by the ign crew didn't have the turn restrictions set properly and could direct drivers across the median at the termination of the ramps. AND the right turns were not disabled at the intersection that they were bypassing with the ramps.

Ramps, deleted.

IGN morons

But are the ign editors fixing or causing update requests with these edits? In any case, it certainly doesn't seem like they are closing update requests.

Btw, this area where these examples are from really needs some major editing. (Newport Beach, CA) I am not an AM there. I am just trying to help out a bit I travelled in this area recently and the Waze experience is less than ideal due to so many map issues.

The ign crew is in the right place. In these examples they don't seem to be doing a detailed, correct job.

Don't hold out hope for a detailed presentation! Otherwise we'll have to get on a bus for a live demonstration of Waze in action and how you can actually get correct directions to turn right without a right turn ramp.

Since it's expected:

Complain, complain - lay off the unnecessary turning lanes!

I agree. Just wondering if the ign editors are respecting locked segments as Waze said they would... Along with the other broken promises.

WeeeZer, were the segments locked? Not that I think that they should have been but supposedly that is supposed to keep them at bay (which I am not believing).

And we think Waze has any control over them, whatsoever?

Even if their services were terminated we are probably not rid of them since they surely share the editing addiction.

I don't think we will ever see a list. Heck you are not going to get a list from me on where I am editing either.

And it seem that Waze can't get them to fix their errors either and regular Waze employees end up fixing what we have been reporting.

So based on Gerben's link, the IGN editors were likely assigned to the area to 'fix' major routes and/or map errors before an influx of new Waze users.

Of note - Waze is now advertising 6 million users.
