Actually, he's got a point. I'd like to see a "fire truck" and "ambulance" icon to report. How many time do you see a vehicle fire and it's just the fire truck?

How about a UFO icon? ;)

Now that would be fun. I could have used that 15 years ago if Waze was around then. I don't believe it was extraterrestrial, but I still wasn't able to figure out what it was as it hovered maybe a few miles from where I lived for a good 5 minutes or so before I finally drove that direction and then it took off. It flew off too quickly for a helicopter and planes don't hover... at least, they didn't back then except a couple of military planes that shouldn't have had any reason to be in the area. Heh. :)

Anyhow, I also would like to see a way to report fire trucks or ambulances, perhaps just as "emergency vehicle" that could also include things like tow trucks or the highway service trucks that come out to help people in some states. It would help people to know that there are vehicles in the area that may have people walking around them and that you should be particularly careful. For now, I just use vehicle stopped, but that doesn't really warn people to be more careful. Maybe it isn't all that necessary, but I wouldn't mind seeing it.

That's a good one! I know from experience that you don't get a good reception inside the Supermarket. I bet this was a Refrigeration tech or roofer on the roof of the store with waze still running.

We already do that and 98 times out of 100 they just ignore you or don't read the message to begin with

Many (most?) editors are regularly experiencing such URs being nearly immediately closed, regardless of the verbosity of the entered text (if they were able to type anything in at all). No matter Solved or not - without any touched segment in the vicinity. Mostly by editors, who've never ever posted in the forum.

I agree....and therein lies the problem. THOSE editors (and I use the term loosely) have no business having the priviledge to edit the maps without being educated on how to do so properly.

What are we to do? :?

Most editor's know if they're leaving a UR as a reminder for themselves, they will mark it as such in the description so it won't be confused with a report from a user.
