Waze looked into fixing the end node issue months ago. Basically they declared that the issue was too complicated to deal with and that was that.

Never discussed the following problem over here...

Selecting segments in the neighborhood from à countryborder, shows the wrong countryname. WME properties give the correct info Offcourse...So searching for segment with à wrong countryname won't work ;)

I discussed this with Slicer a few months ago. He experienced the same problems. Are we the onlyone who have this issue? I know Slicer will have à look for this issue as soon hè has time for it, but I'm surprised I never heard this from other editors...

To be accurate, the extended tools are not interfacing directly with the server at all, only the objects loaded in the browser. A mere detail, but an important one.

I have not actually used the extended tools but I think that they should be primarily for viewing not updating. If there needs to be major updates to cities etc, Waze support can be involved.

These tools need to be used with extreme caution. For example if you landmark an area with the Extended Tools and then change only the city name, any streets that don't have their final directionality set and are currently set as one-way per automatic processes will be confirmed/set as one-way.

Example:

* street is no entry
* Wazer drives through a two-way street in only one direction
* Waze sets the direction as one-way
* map editor uses extended tools to change the city name and saves
* two way segment will be set at one way and won't update to two-way via the automated processes when another Waze goes the opposite direction. In fact Waze routing could be affected since the directionality is now set at one-way and Waze likely won't route the incorrect direction due to penalty against routing against a one-way street.
* a future map editor will need to find this error and correct it in the Waze Map Editor
