What should I do about this:

I'm inclined to leave it, since it won't affect routing and it's kind of funny.

As long as they aren't vandalizing, we've got more important things to fix. But I'd keep an eye on tomynation. Of course, it's always possible that this is Old McDonald's farm.

I believe the 3rd segment needs to be set as private road and named "Had A Farm".

I don't think it was malicious. TOMYNATION left some UR's nearby, which is how I found it. His other edits were legit.

He even may live there. If you enable the GPS layer, the density of points seems to rise along the road to the East, suggesting multiple routes have started within 500 meters.

New one. It's been there since November.

Sadly I didn't see this thread today. I already cleaned up the really bad intersections, and one stretch of highway which pretty much resembled this, only worse.

Most of the town has been like this though.

One question. That intersection above has segments touched last by 4 different editors. However, all of them show an update time of 1969. Just how long has the road been sitting like that? Why doesn't it reflect a real date for the last update?

Yesterday at another intersection, it had a segment that showed last updated 2009.
