I've already redriven this to restore my areas, but that's the drive in question here. (Hope I got the conversion to GMT right!)

Re: Lost editable areas

I have not lost any of my editable areas, but did stumble across something that might be related to this.
I understood that the drive retention period is about 3 months. When I look at my drives in WME, I am able to select any of the drives going back to 21st Oct 2012, which is less than a month ago.

When I attempt to select any of the drives from 20th July 2012 ( my first drive ) up to 20th Oct 2012, I get the popup with the 'Loading' info, but the Chrome console indicates an error:

GET https://world.waze.com/Descartes-live/a ... =nnnnnnnnn 403 (Forbidden)
The session id is likely the unique Drive ID.

I'm just wondering if the date logic from drive 1 on 20th July coincides with the selection of up to 20th of last month. Can anyone else confirm if their join date and where it stops correlate ?

That is a different issue, but a major one. Mine are lost before the Oct 20th or something, kind of 50 drives out of thousand and something. The background request to retrieve the drive returns a 403 not allowed. In the INTL server I have the impression that drives stop being available around the time the mapdate is being generated, so instead of 3 months (the editing rights are correct, mind the issue reported in this thread), my drives are only available for some weeks, maximum one month. I'm about to create a script to save my drives and allow to reload them ;)

As of this morning, support confirms that they've seen the list of your drives that I submitted and they're looking into it and won't be needing any more data. So now we just wait and see what happens.

Just a reminder that new routes are also taking too long to appear, compared with some weeks ago before the new editor/client/infrastructure. Myself I can only identify one route missing (that I noticed), but my weekday work-home daily routes (around 16-20KM) usually took a coffee to appear, and now they are taking hours, if not a whole day.

PS: oops, just noticed that I'm also missing my two work-home routes from yesterday, and the route from sunday still says "yesterday".

I have lost most of my editable areas that are over 4 weeks old. What is odd is I get blobs of editable areas along my drives, so not all is lost.

Example: The drive is along the red road. Should be a 4 mile wide of editable area along the whole stretch.

I have lost editable areas, too. Here are the corresponding drive start times in GMT:

2012-08-18 12:34
2012-08-18 15:35
2012-11-05 19:09
2012-11-05 21:11
2012-11-03 17:38

The first two are out-and-back. The second two overlap somewhat, and the last one is a single drive in the area.
