Roundabout that Ate an Intersection

Postby jasonh300 » Sun Dec 16, 2012 1:59 pm

Go ahead and fix the roundabout. Homer saw it and compulsively removed a few stray junction nodes,
which is why his name is on it, but left it for the community to manage. He also felt that it was obviously too big.

Roundabout that Ate an Intersection

I saw this today and was about to fix it, but noticed that it was recently updated by homer(staff). Not sure what's going on here.

Wow. When y'all said it was oversized, that was an understatment.

Thanks. I adjusted it some to fix the arrows and also to reflect the GPS tracks and drawing.

I was checking that intersection again. I noticed at least two turn restriction that needs to be fixed (East of the roundabout) and the East and West bound do not match correctly with the GPS tracks and the pictures from the article.

I have gone ahead and requested an aerial image update for the roundabout location.

If you look at the GPS tracks, they seem to match the new layout of the roundabout that was in the article. Especially the east bound bends like it does in the article.

Where are these? I don't see them.

They're easy to miss.

The roundabout is brand new so the aerial image is out of date, but it didn't eat houses.
