All these are unnamed and red in the editor. Some even have their cookies munched. And surprise surprise (this is new to me too) those that have their cookies munched have speed data too!

Maybe it is a country/server thing.

So, the only thing left is that they don't appear in the live map. Live map doesn't even update visually anymore. So, l'd rather they stay red until they are assigned correct names instead of encouraging lazy editors to select 'no name' and 'no city'.

I did some testing with some red roads yesterday. Some appear in the client and some do not. I don't know why some do.

The ones I found are not routable.

Either way, allowing them to remain encourages lazy editing. A new editor will never learn to edit properly if they're allowed to draw a bunch of useless incomplete roads and then just walk away.

Then it is a server/country thing. Here they all appear and are routable. Even unedited client paved roads appear in the client and recently they are automatically connected to old roads and soft turns are set.

on INTL, red segments I have checked are not visible in client.

if devs will consider to force city/street for new segments, they should first get rid of current bug (sometimes mainly after changing zoom level to closer zoom it is unable to select segments - not displaying properties of selected segments & unable to submit city/street as no country is listed, which is somehow related to landmarks layer - at least errors are less often when this layer is off). it happened to me many times that after I drow new segment I was unable to set city/street due to no country in dropdown. so I saved segment without name, reloaded page (permalink) and edited properties then. if it wouldn't be possible to save unnamed segment I will loose whole segment I just created. sometimes I draw new roads long several kilometers with many "dots" to ensure proper geometry. it takes lot of effort to recreate such segments again.

I haven't been able to find any to test with, but if the description text used by these auto-URs contains a specific keyword/phrase, then it should be possible to hide them using my UROverview script (if you're a Chrome or Firefox+Greasemonkey user)...

If anyone does come across a fresh batch of these URs, can you please send me a permalink so I can try grabbing some info about them before any eager editors clear them up - it may be possible for the script to handle them directly, in the same way it deals with other specific types of UR (Missing exit, Turn not allowed etc.)

What browser are you using? (Chrome is preferred, FireFox works, & IE is NOT supported, but seems to work with the Chrome Frame installed)

If that doesn't help, what country are you located in?

Excellent, thanks! I've added a specific filtering option to the latest version of the script, anyone who's interested should pay a visit to its thread here (world server) or here (usa server)
