Perhaps until a more formal report/approval process is implemented there should be a subforum similar to the requests to unlock or edit subforums. This subforum would be limited to notifications of long term.construction or other rolling changes to an area that is under construction. I would still.want to send a PM to the appropriate AMs, CMs and Champs, but it seems to make sense to have a place where these types of things are concisely stated in the subject line and editors would be charged with checking before they undo changes. Of course, if everyone contacted the person who made the prior edits before undoing them, that would be ideal. I dont think that is happening though.
Connecticut and
Rhode Island
both document these closures in the Wiki. They are also locked to prevent the from being accidentally put back.
