Singapore's one-stop-shop

Hi guys and gals,

I wanted to share with you something a bit different today:

Singapore Waze community has it's own Facebook group, where local editors can chat, have discussions, share ideas and more.

Just today I noticed that in order to help new editors have a solid source of information, a post was made with everything an editors needs to know in order for him to start editing.

This is indeed a great source of information, links to relevant Wiki pages and other FB groups.

Welcome Singapore Wazers!

If you are requesting for an UNLOCK, state the segment's current lock level, your editing level and what is wrong with it the segment/s.

If you encounter or know of any events or road construction that results in road closures, do let us know. We will add temporary closure events on these roads so that other Wazers can be informed and not routed through them. Post the location, affected roads, and the schedule as well as any article or webpage source for reference.

About Waze Singapore
The Waze Singapore community is still in its infancy but is one of the fastest growing communites in Asia today. The community officially gained self-managment status from Waze in October 2014. (https://wiki.waze.com/wiki/Roles_and_re ... ent_system) This allowed us to set policies and guidelines best suited to Singapore's road conditions and render better asssitance to local editors/wazers.

We are also part of Team SEA (Southeast Asia), consisting of Indoneisia, Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore where we share knowledge, intelligence and editing know-how to foster and build a strong global community.
