No permission to make changes?

I've tried to make changes to obvious incorrect road layouts and names that I personally know in different parts of the country and ultimately receive a block stating "No permission to make changes"

What exactly is this an can it be over-ridden?

My initiative is for the correctness and quality of the map.

If someone paves a road in an area, do they have the sole rights to add, edit or amend in that area?

It is most off-putting to be refused to carry out intuitive amendments that can only benefit Waze going forward.

Any answers out there, please?

I've perused other areas of the Board to no avail.

Regards,

End.

Thank you Tim,

Much appreciated assistance! :D

From a West Yorkshire to a North Yorkshire man! Mother's from near Pontefract. Will be using Waze for first time on my next drive over from Ireland to see all of the relations.

Regards,

Arthur.

Also, if you look on the old editor Cartouche, there is an option on the layers tab to see who is the area manager for those places.
You could then DM them through their forum username with details of the places that need updating.

You can edit any roads within a mile of where you have driven. Zoom out all the way in the editor, and turn on the 'editable area' layer. (click on the [+] button)
