Live Map - Get Directions - To/From Dublin

I've actually added (and locked!) a very small road in the middle of the GPO (after reading your post) and put it in 'Dublin'. It will be interesting to see if this has a beneficial effect.

Works great for country fellas like me! Hope the ghost segments of the '16 Rising folk don't go astray though!

There was another Dublin coming up in live map search on a ramp entitled "to M1 (S), Airport", coming off the R125. I've taken care of that! It's great that we have finally put paid to Dublin so easily bar a few feet of well hidden pavement. lol!

Delighted to hear Dublin no longer exists! Maybe now we can get a bit more attention west of the Shannon!

A "get directions" request for Dublin from Sligo renders quickly, is within normal distance/journey times and is now much more centered close to Customs House D1 (where better)!

Dublin doesn't exist! It is a figment of your imagination!!!

Actually I spent several months removing Dublin from the map and replacing it with the suburbs names. Turn off the aerial layer and turn on the cities layer and zoom out well. You'll see some gaps where I'm not sure where one suburb ends and another begins. Dublin 1 and Dublin 2 are in as towns but having one great big blob called Dublin on the map didn't help and wasn't visible on the client.

Perhaps we should a very short segment outside the GPO and put it in as Dublin???

The data for this is grabbed from another provider so it's unlikely. Could you not just route to that road or set it as a favourite?
You could try contacting Bing or Google about it, but the Waze one afaik is generated from the centre of all roads in that city.

In "Get Directions" on the Live Map to or from Dublin one is routed to/from an area near Swords, North Dublin. (Russell Terrace) (Should be Russell Tce according to naming convention) or the R125 roundabout immediately across the other side of the M1 from Russell Terrace.

On inputting the word Dublin in "Get Directions" "From"/"To" search boxes, one is offered "., Dublin, Ireland" as a premier choice and in choosing it on the drop-down one is routed as stated above.

Can this be altered to route search for Dublin to say O'Connell St or somewhere notable in the centre of the city?
