Hi Yanis,

Hmm, it looks a bit iffy alright. Do you mean a map raid? We haven't organised one before, although maybe it'd be useful for many purposes (not just Dundalk) to get all active editors together so we can focus our efforts on particular problems (like this one).

Do you happen to know how many editors we have regularly editing in Dundalk? How many editors with editing rights in Dundalk do we have who can approve place updates? How many of those MPs are for unnamed segments?

One interesting thing about Dundalk is that several of our friends in the north also have editing rights there.

I saw that - they all seem to have been around the space of a few days in late January.

When I see a new editor show up and do more than just a couple of days editing, I usually send them a welcome message with links to the forum and the wiki and so on, in the hope the they start following road type and name guidelines. Most of the time my messages get read :)

One funny thing though is that I rarely see any other editors in the editor chat window and almost never see more than one. Do we really have so few active editors? Our usage stats have been steadily increasing for the last few years, so I was hoping that our active/experienced editor count would be going up at the same rate.

Not sure how to check that about the editors, but from a quick check with the highlights not too many:

I actually never saw anyone online in the editor chat :)

The stats are very interesting, especially realising that some smaller cities have 10-fold active users (ie Antwerp: Population 500k, 2.4k active users)
