If you're nosy enough (like Tony_Palfi who's the biggest fan of x.x around Dublin), you can still update the price of a fuel that's previously been set to Not Available to x.x.

Standing by for HQ reply so.

Good news, Waze HQ has rectified the issue!!

They also removed the prices from 246 gas stations that showed the price in "x.x".

I was out and about today, and updated the price in a good few gas stations - I can happily confirm they accepted the xxx.x price. Happy days!

I tried updating a bunch of stations last week and during the weekend, and some allowed me to mark fuels unavailable, submit, add price, submit. Some would not allow me to add the price for neither fuels, some would allow me only one. Nonsense basically!!

PS: I'm also on Android.

Thanks for the reminder, I've pinged HQ again and will revert if/when I receive an update.

Update from HQ on fuel prices: "please wait a few more days before trying to update the prices. We need to configure another thing for the gas stations."

Attempting to update prices in the meantime will not break anything but we'll keep getting an error.

A petrol price virgin!

Can you share more info on the location and the device you've used, as well as if there was a price before? Also what format was the old price in?

I logged a ticket with waze a few months ago at this stage but i haven't heard back from them since. It looks like they are slowly converting them back to the 4 digit version now. Although there is one near me in that wont accept any format other than a 2 digit format with a decimal in the middle

Welcome to the forums!

The correct price format for Ireland is in cents so xxx.x (or for example 144.9). You can probably tell by the symbol which is not €, but "c".

There have been a couple of long periods where the feature somehow got broken and the price format among other elements did not work properly.

We're hopefully coming out of the woods after some development progress in the last 2 weeks, so stay tuned.

Just about half an hour ago I tried 4 gas stations that were giving me the uh-oh until yesterday, and they all accepted the xxx.x price! Shall I jump from excitement?

Is it working OK for you guys?
