I'm sure that they are coming. No need to get all worked up!

Could be that Waze thinks that these types of items are not appropriate for the rest of the world? Although of course people in the United States and Canada have many religions and belief's also.

rudayo wrote:For some reason, I got the pop-up and it never went away, completely covering the map and rendering all other functionality null. How do you get the pop up to close?

using iphone 4s if that means anything.

Even turned off the location functionality so the nav wouldnt just keep running, closed app, but when I re-open, popup is still on. Do I need to delete app and re-install?
That's strange.

A couple of suggestions before tying to uninstall/reinstall:

* Close Waze from the recents menu. Double click home, hold down one of the icons in the recents menu that appears at the bottom of the screen, click the x next to Waze. Try launching Waze again.

* Restart phone. Hold down the power button... keep holding... hold it until the phone powers off. keep holding... release the power button when you see the white Apple logo. Try launching Waze again.

Editing is surely a better value for all. But for the average Wazer that doesn't know that the map can be edited and doesn't know about the forum, Holiday Goodies are about as exciting as it gets.

Ran Waze all day while on the road and again tonight to and from dinner. Of course had the iPad lid closed so for some reason I don't know if I had a slash screen or not! Also didn't hear any goodie sfx either.
