86%. It's true, second-guessing can do you in.

I got 54%. If I would've gone with my gut on all of them, I probably would've gotten about 60%.

I know I'm way late to this thread but I'm catching up on old forum posts that I missed.

"You answered 45 of 50 questions correctly for a total score of 90%."

I got one wrong due to second guessing. Of course, I'm a scientist, my parents were scientists and I have three degrees from MIT so this isn't too surprising. Just don't ask me to take a similar quiz for art or literature!

:geek: Question 14 is not quite accurate: "a Greek term meaning 'good kernel,'" really should read "true kernel" :geek:

40/50, so it is a good thing that knowledge of stamps and brontosaurii is not required for admission into biology Ph.D. programs!

44 of 50 questions correctly for a total score of 88%.

I'm not a scientist or anything...just a gigantic nerd.

Alan, thanks for the link.

Same here, with the Chemistry questions. I haven't taken chem since high school and it has always been my LEAST favorite subject, but apparently my brain retained some of the information anyway. :)
