In Great Britain*, yesterday's rush hour peaked at 737 Wazers, with around 300 online at a time during the day.
There's at least 10,000 active Wazers who are in GB, probably more.

Yup, will do!dmcconachie wrote:Can you count unique over a week?
Hmm... Maybe. Do you mean by country or county or what?dknight212 wrote:And how many by region...

Nope, I'm collecting my own stats. Still under development...gettingthere wrote:Although from Timbones post earlier in this thread, it appears that it may now be available in parts of the UK?AlanOfTheBerg wrote:It is only a NA thing, I think due to definition of "metro areas" from something I read recently.

I tried this with the LiveMap, but found that I only ever saw a subset of users. The most I've seen in GB at once is around 800, with ~8,000 users seen each. Waze says there are 600k users here, but I've only ever seen 100k. There's one MegaDriver that I have never seen on the LiveMap, so I doubt the validity of my stats.petervdveen wrote:Is it possible to remove this maximum and see all of them?
The client app probably has different criteria for who it shows on the map.

Exactly. I tried doing the same for the whole of the UK, but found that only a subset of users appeared on the Livemap, and Waze confirmed this to be true. In fact, there's one particular driver I know who uses Waze all day every day, but he never ever appeared on the Livemap.gettingthere wrote:That seems to be problematic. We know that Livemap is not a priority for Waze and that the number of users are filtered. So that is why the number of Wazers looks to be very low all across Europe per Wazestats. Waze really needs to provide an API to the actual data for this to be accurate.
I've since discarded my stats as a wasted effort. The only thing it's good for is to show general daily and weekly trends.
