Install hangs on iPhone 4 iOS 5.0.1

I have a iPhone 4 and a iPhone 4S. On the 4s, Waze install went easy, however, when I install on the 4 iOS 5.0.1; it tells me to allow notifications and then goes to Downloading language and hangs there forever :?:

I can close the program out and open it again, this time I see the waze splash screen for several seconds and then the waze program closes out. I have deleted and re-installed several times and it keep doing the same thing.

uninstall everything to do with siri if you have an iphone4 or older. i was kinda pissed when it worked but ima tell the maker of acidsiri inorder to have them both, as of right now i just uninstalled siri completely and Waze now works fully

I am also having the same issue on jailbroken iOS 5.0.1
waze was working fine, however I uninstalled it, and now when i reinstall it it will hang on downloading langauges.

I have tried uninstall>reboot>reinstall and that did not work.

any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the reply, however I have discover a workaround.

it appears that there is a conflict with Spire.
you must install and launch Waze before installing Spire.

the problem only seems to be with TTS as if I disabled location services and choose international rather than US waze would launch without a problem.

Several people have reported, that after uninstall power off/on then reinstall fixes a lot of startup issues.

I would submit a trouble ticket to waze then, as most replies you are going to see in the forum are from other users, which can only give you workarounds, or known issues.

For a permanent fix, it sounds like you need some developer assistance.

Send an email via the nanorep section of the support webpage.

Has there been any kind of fix for this yet i have uninstalled restarted and reinstalled about 6 times now and it still just locks up at the downloading language spot. Every time and it is starting to get really annoying.
