Yet again the day-of-week problem, or just a few hours' glitch?

Yesterday, a silent Sunday morning, some 8 wazers in a 250 sq. km city. But all ETA times (upon multiple drive-throughs along various roads, some 60 km) are by 50% higher, just like on Mondays, and are rapidly falling while driving through usual jam areas.
On the early afternoon, ETA's seem to be nearly exact.

Holidays are here - apparently the majority of drivers (including these using Waze) literally escaped from the city, there seem to be nearly no traffic jams anymore, just an occasional slowdown.

Two days ago, one more silent early Sunday morning, 3 static wazers to be seen (except that they were actually moving, just the recent "less than 10 km/h" bug applied to them?) and here-and-there some car on the road. Initial ETA for a 20 km drive throughround the city was 30 minutes and was continuously falling down during the 21 minutes' drive. The drive never takes that long on a Sunday morning.

Support, finally at least any word regarding this problem? It lasts already for 1/3 of year!! :!: Still considered fixed?

I also agree that something has changed but the results that we are now seeing are still not as we would expect. I am still wondering if Waze is having some issue with the data on the routing servers, that service the same Wazers, not being properly in sync.

At some point Waze may roll out the official 'Near you now' which gives the count of current Wazers, reports and jams in your metropolitan area. I believe that the is only active in the USA, in certain cities presently.

That's a good 'problem' to have!

I've had the same problem - static ETAs for all routes 24 hours a day. But it looks much better today morning.

EDIT: It is different, not better.

Here in Slovakia we have the highest ETAs on sunday mornings (WTF?) instead of mondays. Also during the whole sunday, ETAs are higher than should be.

ETAs are totally out of average reality. It looks like Waze routing server is ignoring day of week.

WORLD server, Slovakia:

Expected ETA at 08:00 is 23 minutes, actually it should be 18 - 20 minutes.

Saturday 07:15: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/10259654/Satur ... 071553.png
Expected ETA at 08:00 is 23 minutes, actually it should be 13 - 16 minutes.

Sunday 07:16: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/10259654/Sunda ... 071634.png
Expected ETA at 08:00 is 23 minutes, actually it should be 13 - 16 minutes.

Monday 07:17: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/10259654/Monda ... 071721.png
Expected ETA at 08:00 is 23 minutes, actually it should be 30 - 40 minutes.

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia
Everything is the same route Home -> Work (under my username), +/- indoor GPS fix

xteejx wrote:This may sound like a stupid question, but are there many Wazers in Brazil or Slovakia? Waze can't give a correct eta if it doesn't have enough traffic data for those times.
Yes, there are 1300 unique active wazers in our city ;-) Anyway it was working correctly before.
