Yep I am sure that could happen...
Either way, it's sooo much better than anytime I have upgraded my phone.
First time I have been offered $$ for my old one. 8-)

My last run was about a 30 minute drive offline.
I didn't get an initial route leaving my son's house (connect to his wifi wasn't good enough from where I was parked), but picked it up fine at an AT&T hotspot at a stop I had to make on the way.

My whole route was cached, so the only thing I was missing was traffic and reports.

It appears that I am now in the iPhone5 backlog......
My phone was ordered within the first hour of my son's AT&T store opening and my order status is "pending".

I am pretty fortunate here Alan.
AT&T is rolling out LTE in my market within the next couple of months.
That said, since my son is an AT&T employee so I won't be leaving anyway.

As to my earlier post about selling my old iphone4.
The Amazon vendor gave us credit for the amount promised.
I am sure some folks misrepresent the condition of their phones to their advantage.
We did not, but the phones we sent were in near pristine condition.

Although you still can get what AT&T is advertising as 4G, HSPA+ when on a phone call with AT&T.

In any case, compared to iPhone 4 - the iPhone 5 is impressive in every regard :)
Ditto that!
I am really impressed with the advances with Siri!
Besides all the things Siri does, they gave it a bit of a sense of humor.

My favorite responses to this dumb statement.....

me: Siri, You're a moron!

Siri: "We were talking about you, not me."
"but... but...."
"After all I've done for you!"

Funny you should post this today Alan......

Today AT&T turned on LTE in Tulsa.
The speed blew me away and Waze loves it....

Here's a screen shot of speed tests done today.
The LTE speed seems really dependent on signal strength....

I like speedtest because they have so many servers.
It chooses one in a Tulsa burb.
Takes "internet brown out" out of the equation.
