How do some people get so many POINTS in a week?

Post by Mr_GO_HERD
Ive already done all the extras like fixing 50 map problems and driving 500 miles in a week etc. Ive never gotten near the amount of points in a given week that I see many people getting week after week after week. I report stuff I see, gas station prices, etc all day every day and yet I never get as many points.

Am I not doing something? :?:

Earn points is not difficult ... But quality issues should be the priority ;)

Thanks for the reply! I have recently started updating the maps myself. So based on your reply you get more points for continuously updating maps?

You get bonus points for edits, so when I do get in the car, I have bonuses for 1, 2, or even 3 weeks worth of edits waiting out there for me! Every 500 edits gives you a bonus candy. So I tend to either be at the top of the scoreboard for my state or somewhere at the bottom.
Ok great! Thanks! Like I said above I started editing myself and I have already caught the wrath from my wife! Hahaha! She said ok youve been looking at stupid maps for over an hour is it really that interesting?

I have fallen into the Waze map madness! Im in Huntington, WV and have been noticing all the map "issues" like roads being marked one way or whatever and other little things that I have been taking care of. I got the point load when I turned my waze back on and the little candies were popping up. My wife said why are you driving down this road? I showed her my phone and said I have to go get this candy.
