Waze forum

Hello!

I definitely love Waze! I am a newbie though and I now want to change my username without losing my data. Is this at all possible?

1) You probably signed up for Waze using your Facebook account, instead of creating a Waze account and then linking it to your Facebook account.
2) Have you contacted support to change your username?

It's been almost a year since the announcement that the ability to change one's username was "temporarily" disabled. Is that option coming back at all in the near future? I hope so!

Unfortunately, Waze have temporarily disabled the ability to change username, while they improve the infrastructure.

But why some people have theis username changed and I can't?
I already see many people who dont have the world_XXXXX username anymore, and they joined the waze after me. How this is possible?
