ASR Problem

Postby JohnGWalker » Mon Aug 20, 2012 12:25 pm

While trying to find how to get the purple monster I managed to wrok out how to enable ASR in Waze. However, when I give it a command it responds how you would expect (drive to home gives driving to home, ok or report heavy traffic give reporting heavy traffic, ok) but nothing actually happens.

Have I missed something obvious?

BTW, this also means that getting the purple monster doesn't work either///Help!

You have to confirm the command! "Go" or "Send" or "Yes" or something similar, I can never remember which works!

Ah, now it makes sense. When she says "OK" it's a question not a statement.

I'm now a Waze Monster :)

Thanks for your help

While we're on the topic of ASR, I would appreciate it if somebody could please point me in the right direction on how to activate it in the UK on an iPhone..
Cheers.

Took me a while to figure out what it's trying to say too. For me it "speaks" English, but with Swedish intonation and pronunciation.

And I'm Finnish :D

Mispeled whit my phone

How do you set it up?

I can get it activated, but I get "Sorry is not available" whenever I try to use the 3 finger gesture.
