The light bulb

Some wazers have a small black circle with an even smaller light bulb in it. What does it mean? Can't find any info about it.
Are there any other icons than the bulb and headphones?

I created my own group & joined somebody else's that travels in my area but there is no activity. What good are groups? What purpose do they serve? Anybody that can explain? :?
