Maybe I Should Go Back to Garmin?

Post by
Guys - Your System Isn't Working. It used to work fine but no more! I started keeping a spread sheet because I knew I was missing points.

Waze claims problems were fixed up to 10-14 but I drove 230+ miles the week of 10-8 and I was only credited for 57 miles.

This week I'm being credited about 1 mile for every 5 I'm driving.

Waze used to be fun but I'm thinking of going back to Garmin.

The maps on the garmin will be a 1000x better than the waze maps, most of the old inner city roads and suburbs aren't even mapped what so ever so once you need a suburb street or side street waze will be useless anyway whereas the garmin will have all those streets ready to go.
That is very much depending on where you use waze - "here" (the Netherlands), the maps greatly outperform ANY other map. Also in the very crowded and narrow city centers of this country.

Out of curiosity, could provide which phone you are using and if you have a network connection when you park at the office?

The Garmin comment was a joke btw. But yeah Waze really need to sort out points among other issues so new users really *aren't* alienated.
However, I don't think threatening to return to an inferior product is going to make fixing things come any quicker. Trust me many of us have tried ;-)

Points to pounds should be the main thing we do with waze's money. I could buy 10 Nissan GTRs ;-)
