Iphone User: Facebook login no dashboard

Hello,

I downloaded the app first and used facebook login to create an account. I wanted to look at my dashboard online, but that requires a waze account and I couldn't create a new one with the email I use for facebook so I followed the "lost password" procedure and I got a weird USA_... username and password, but that is not accepted in the iphone app.

Is there a way to merge the two and create a reasonable Waze account user name or just see my dashboard/routes/stats from the Facebook. Thanks.

Becky

Once you log in to the website with your usa_ account name, you should be able to change it from the Dashboard page. Could you confirm?

It's still grayed out for me... I think it's still a "must contact support" change since this announcement viewtopic.php?f=18&t=22812
Oh, yeah, you're right. Yep, you'll need to send an email via the Quick Help box/form on the Support page.

(They really need to fix the facebook-login-creates-dummy-account situation.)

If you're logged in via the app, then you're fine. It is just the indicator and function on the website dashboard which isn't working. Within the app, FB friends all appear just fine.

I am having the same problem. I log in via the dashboard, but it always says not connected. It also says the last update was dec 24th 2012. Should it not say the latest update was done like 24 hours ago not over a week ago?

Same problem here!!

I try already since I use Waze by "My dashboard" to connect with Facebook.
I've already tried this in IE, FireFox and Chrome, but still no result.
I get a new window to my FB to enter data and to log in.
But when I login I come back on the My dashboard page.
And there remains "not connected".

I use the Waze version 3.5 on my phone and there my FB account is linked to my Waze account.

Have anyone a solution for the problem in My dashboard?
http://world.waze.com/wiki/index.php/Da ... al_Details For the wiki.

In the App on my phone i can see my Facebookj friends and use it correctly.
But on the website by "My Dashboard" I have no friends and i can't connect my Facebook.

What do I wrong?
More people in The Netherlands have the same problem and I will post the solution in The Netherlands forum.

It seems that login with facebook to create a waze account does not work. Have you tried to create a waze account from scratch and then connect that waze account to facebook?

The USA_xxx or World_xxx are random accounts created on the fly when you don't signup with waze.

Thanks for your help guys. I tried to create a new account and link and I think that is how I got the USA... account, but I can't actually login to Facebook from the website or change my user name. I am glad I am not the only one.
