Here it is the other way around. The live map shows the sea properly (at least for the inexperienced eyes), but the client shows Asia connected to Africa by turning over half the Red Sea into land.

Please see areas linked to in this thread (first and third post). I presume this is the same 'issue'. Everything looks ok in the editor.

Nantucket and Martha's Vinyard (to the west) are completely missing.

I made an island landmark for Nantucket. I don't have any permissions for Marrha's Vinyard.

A new fix will be uploaded again to the server in a matter of a week or so.
Does that apply to the NA server as well, Ori? I've gotten 4 new UR's in the last 3 days about Grand Island, NY still being underwater.

This issue should have been fixed by yesterday.
Does this problem still persists?
I scanned over the area in the client when I made the above post, just to see if it was still that way, and it was ... so yes, Grand Island is still under the Niagara River in the client as of six hours ago. :?

The thing that confuses me is the message from JonyPony just a few days ago saying all the country polygons had been updated.

Is there confusion between editing boundaries, and visible coastlines? Also, the 'sea' we see in the Livemap is not the same as what we see in the client app.

I got some clarification from Waze about this. Shirli says "You are not supposed to notice any change in the livemap until the livemap tiles will be updated (might take some time - tiles are currently updating in the client but not in the livemap due to the new infrastructure)."

The whole of the east coast of England is "wrong", despite having provided official coastline to Waze.
I sent a detailed complaint (with pictures) to Shira.

I'm so sorry to bump an old thread, but the problem still exists in Kuwait's map!

It would be great if a moderator could look into this.
Thanks.
