Hello, I'm new here.

I ride a motorcycle alot and use Waze in headphones for my navigation.

It used to work like this:
Helmet on, headphones in, set route, lock iphone screen and put in pocket. Waze would tell me nav while I was on the move.

Now Waze doesn't seem to run while my iphone screen is locked. Actually, it WILL work only sometimes and cut off nav half way home and there's no way to tell. I just keep riding along like a dummy.

This is a problem because I have no hands free, gloves on and the phone is deep into my pockets. so to keep checking the status of the app is not an option. Is there a way to keep waze running and giving directions while the iphone screen is locked? It seems like the latest big update messed it up because i swear it used to work fine.

Ideas?
