Waze forum

Is there some way to search your PMs that I'm overlooking? I found a phpbb extension that does this but there's no screenshot so I'm not even sure where to look for the capability (to see if it's been installed for the waze forums).

Do you really have that many PMs to look for?

Sometimes I need to find out WHEN I sent a PM to a specific person and see what I said.

It isn't too difficult to dig through my 'outbox' to see which messages are still pending, although that folder IS split into two pages.
It IS very difficult to dig through my SENT folder to find a message that had been pending for months but was just read because THAT folder has 20 pages.

Just now, I had someone respond to a message I sent in mid May.
The message had the title 'Red Roads' so it was one of hundreds I have sent to newbees, trying to educate them about the red roads that they have created.

It took me close to half an hour to page back through the sent folder and find out when I sent this particular message.

And no, I can't just 'expand' the view and use ctrl-f and the user's name to find the older message (although that SHOULD work, it doesn't!) as the history window seems to be truncated.

I have certainly run into issues that I could use a search in my inbox or sent folder.

Usually only one to look for, but probably hundreds to sift through (I've had to start saving stuff in other folders just to keep my inbox open for new messages).

Like, when I'm trying to dig up who it was that I PM'd with way back when about that weird intersection on Main out in BFE... Or, when I'm trying to recall if I've already asked WalMart-Lot-Lane-Paver to knock it off... Or which local editors I sent the BOLO to the last time I-B-A-rogue-CM did some editing in our area.

Is there some other way to manage PMs that makes the usefulness of a search feature moot?
