Thanks to grateful permission from Waze and with big help of guri211 I would like to announce the lauch of new unofficial statistics website
http://wazestats.com. Currently, the european capitals and few other locations around are monitored for active users every 5 minutes wich interesting charts of most active ones. We plan to add few other places and statistics soon. Enjoy and try to be better than your neighbours!

That's one of the options we will investigate.

Here in Ireland (and in the UK too) we're on UTC in the winter, UTC+1 in the summer - an hour behind most of Europe - so the activity graph for Dublin is showing that it's already about 1825, but it's still just 1725 here...
Yes, it's posible but the images are static, so the only option would be to set local timezone of the city, not the user watching the website. Added to my to-do list but will be difficult to re-write my scripts generating daily data after the midnight.

The data feed methods are developed by guri and I am not sure if he wants to publish them for massive use as this could load the Waze infrastracture more than they would like.

BTW, I am writing down all your requests for new cities like Edinburgh or Istanbul. When the background mechanism (also timezone etc.) is finalized, we will try to add more - where we see sufficient activity and up to the capacity of the server.

The time in all graphs is CET (GMT/UTC+01) now. Please be patient, I am working on the improvements just in the late evenings next to many other things like translations, map editing or geocaching FTF runs.

There were some problems with the data from Waze last ~2 weeks. It seems to be back to normal since this morning.

The active wazer data disappeared from the map resulting to empty statistics. Currently don't know if it comes back once...
