Slight panic here when ALL I could see was 'Board index' and 'Thanks Toplist'.
PM access was missing.
Logged out and back in. No change.
By chance, I noticed 'the team' at the bottom of the page and clicked on it and logged in.
Bingo!

The 'thumbs up' button seems to be missing today on www.waze.com/forum
The Delete all board cookies did NOT fix it.
logging out and back in did not fix it.
clearing ALL cookies for the browser and logging out and back in DID fix it.

I am not sure how you have been 'attaching' the images.
I have had success by manually putting them on a server to which I have access and then inserting the link into my forum post. As long as I leave the file on the server, the image works in the posting.

An alternative fix would be for Waze to give us a 'drop box' where we could drop pictures.
They could scan the drops and remove any malware infected items.
They would 'host' the vetted items and allow us to use only items on that server.

This is a good idea.
That is what is really needed. To be safe, they would need to host the approved files and make sure they don't get changed by malware running on someone's machine.
