Waze forum

Hi Wazers!

We're happy to announce that we're ready to kickoff the new reorganization plans!

Each active local community now has a community manager from the Waze team who will be in direct contact with each community's coordinators and experts.

You can find the list of these coordinators and experts in your local community forums.

Experts - you have now special private forums in which you can discuss high level issues, consult with each other and benefit from updates from the Waze team.

These subforums are located in each professional forum. For instance, the "Editing experts" private forum can be found under Map > Editing.

We're really excited to begin!

So true, I am supposed to be in two groups, however I cannot access any relevent sub forum We are kicking something tho!

In User Control Panel - new groups are available for joining. So you can submit your request for joining respective groups - I hope that this will speed up group assignments

Subforum for Coordinators?

I like the idea of a scripting section, there are a few scripts and addons which we can summarize in one place.

I cant view it as i told you in PM. Phpbb2 had categories, but phpbb3 does not. Everything is a forum. You set permissions for the subforums, but you didnt do it for the Forum that contains the expert subforums.

All the "experts" groups should have forum permissions to "see" the main expert forum (which contains the subforums), but not all of them should have forum permissions to "see and read" the subforums.


In this case, chances are that "editing experts" group, for example, does not have marked "yes" for the "see forum" setting in the "Experts" forum that contains the subforums. I mean, i cant view them in the board index.
