Forum post not getting updated in dashboard

As you can see this is my forum post no. 123 but on the dashboard it's still showing 102 posts.
Why is it so?

Forum post not getting updated in dashboard

The forum posts haven't updated in the dashboard since the new version of PHPbb was installed.

Additionally, since the tally is still being kept in the forum, it shouldn't be a problem to fix. The count isn't lost. The forum software just isn't talking to the dashboard like its supposed to.
