Manual removal Waze Windows Phone?

Post by hartvarken
I can't get Waze working on my Samsung Omnia II phone anymore.
It started with a crash of Waze (i had the latest beta wvga installed and it worked good for a long time). So i removed Waze. Then i reinstalled Waze.
Waze hangs at the splashscreen. i have to remove te battery to restart the phone. tried several times. Or i'll get the hanging splashscreen or Waze quits after showing the splashscreen.
Is there a way to manually remove waze from the phone? or what else can i do?
thanx.

Try to delete the folder \Storage Card\waze manually after uninstalling the application. It seems to be a kind of a cache folder, and it is not removed by default when uninstalling waze.

I don't know if it is the same as I have a different phone (should be pretty much the same as it is still a windows phone, just diff brand/type), but here's how I can do it on my phone:

settings > system settings > remove programs > click waze > click remove

Like said, it could be different on your phone (this is on a Touch Pro 2 with WM6.5) but seeing you run Windows, I think it should be about the same.
