This main forums reorg is now complete. Mostly followed the OP with the following exceptions:

1. Former Map->Editing->Help when Waze.... (3 forums) moved to Waze App->Navigation & Routing
2. An '* Issues and Requests' subforum in Waze App, Waze Map Editor, and Website, Community, General forums to collect issues (not necessarily bugs) and requests for those areas. Named for easy viewing in Tapatalk as well.
3. Country (language) forums moved up in the view to promote local forum usage.

It looks like the forum software failed again. It has created a circular reference for the Country (language) forums and the Latin America subforum.

I will let Waze know there is still untangling to do. I don't think this should have happened if all the corruption had been totally fixed.

See my last post. Corruption in database referencing forum parent ids I think which still existed caused the country forums to be not visible in the interface. They are still there but not accessible from the forum front-end. I've notified Yonatan and Shirli.

That's great that the direct link works. In the admin panel, it shows as a sub forum of WME beta testers! Really not good. But the posts all seem to be intact.

The intent was to have parent "continental" (global regions) as parent forums. However, every time I tried to organize this, bugs or corruption in the DB caused massive forum failures and forums appearing in the wrong places so I gave up.

Maybe I should try again...

Alan, another one for the forum in the wrong place list:

"Board index ‹ Country (Language) Forums ‹ Asia ‹ Malaysia ‹ Requests for new Area Manager ‹ Americas and Caribbean" but if you go into any of the sub forums there, the breadcrumbs are correct.

That's why I use a tweaked version of the "Cleaner Waze" forum cleaner script -- I have it set to show only the "United States" and "Canada" subforums on the "Countries" forum page. (Not that I think that the other countries are unimportant, of course ;) -- they're just outside of my bailiwick. :))
Spil, could you send it or link it yo mee as well ?
Thanks
