If you are old enough to remember or find YouTube to look it up, the ORIGINAL Sea-To-Shining-Sea event is about to embark on its 30th Anniversary event next weekend!!

No longer is the Cannonball Run and event featured with Scofflaw drivers breaking the laws and sanity but rather a new event has emerged called the One Lap of America (http://www.OneLapofAmerica.com)

If you'd like to follow along or our updates, join the group "One Lap Of America 2013" on your Waze groups search. We would LOVE to have anyone who is traveling along the 3500 miles between our stops this year helping out to give updates.

Starting in South Bend, Indiana we are heading South to Alabama, through Mississippi and then to New Orleans. From there we travel to Daytona International Speedway and North to Carolina Motorsports Park, Virginia International Raceway to Pittsburgh Racing Complex before heading West back to Indiana. The route will encompass 3500 miles of transit driving, 10 different tracks, in SEVEN DAYS!

I thought the same thing, but since it's about racetracks, like most of the US population, they're east of the Mississippi. 80% of the US population is 2 days drive from Memphis, TN.

Google "nascar track map".
