"Joined" Date in Profile

My Profile says I joined in April 2010, but I know for a fact that I joined earlier than that when I was in college.

Here's proof. I created the street I lived on in college in January 2009.

Anyone know whats going on?

The 2009 date is when the base map was brought into the database. The first person to confirm the road (driving on it), their ID will got assigned as created. You will see a lot of different IDs for 2009 create date, but it has nothing to do with the joined date.

One additional commnet - the "joined" date shown in the forum posts is not the date you created your Waze account. It's probably the date you first logged into the forums. I started using Waze with this registered account in July, but my "joined" date attached to my posts says October 5.
