delay in updating score!

Hi!
I would like to know if is normal that my score is not updated yet before about three days.
Infact I drove for about 300 km on saturday night and now, at 12 pm of monday, I have the same score of two days ago! I have some doubt because i know that it tooks only 24 hours for updating!

Make sure you are going to the correct web site - US & Canada is http://www.waze.com while the rest of the world is http://world.waze.com

It has been over a week since updating my score. I have accrued over 3700 points since it has updated. I am not sure if Waze has been keeping accurate track of my additional points since it stopped updating. I commute over 85 miles round trip daily and regularly report 10+ incidents per day. I also should be on the next level (only 2694 pts away). I would like to keep using Waze and have my points update; however not sure how to resolve. Please let me know if my issue can be corrected. Thanks

I know this is an older post, but I've having the same issues. Actually, my phone is updating fine, but my Dashboard hasn't updated with my routes, rank or points since July 9.

I've checked that I'm on http://www., not world., my username and email are all the same, but for some reason, my Dashboard isn't updating at all.

Any ideas?

I was wondering about this too. On my Dashboard it says it hasn't been updated since the 26th, though on the left it shows trips I've made since then. My phone client hasn't updated either.

Is a three-day delay normal? I'm new around here...

There are several variables here.

First, anything the phone says is approximate. The server is the master points keeper. The phone asks the server once every 24 hours what the current points is. They it adds on what it thinks the server will add on officially (road munching, candies, etc.)

The server keeps track of the points by analyzing your drives,.

And then there appears to be another task that does the ranking daily.

Now, when their are delays in route processing, this can cause delays in points getting to your profile, and differences in ranks. Then since the phone is guessing at your real points, when it refreshes with the server, it can "take" points away (as they haven't officially been credited yet).

In the long run, things work out, and hopefully all the infrastructure work Waze HQ is working on right now, will bring things back to a more daily flow.

I think all the waze gurus are tied up with carmagedden. See status.waze.com for info. Should be back to "normal" after Monday ( I hope).

Thank you hallmike! The problem wasn't in the web site, but in the app of my iPhone. Infact in my profile on the website all data are updated. But when I control my score directly from the app I see the same score of two days ago. However now is all ok! So now I know that the score updating on the app is slower than on the site and this process usually tooks more than 24 hours! bye!!!

Points are just delayed. They will be updated as soon as the process is fixed, I'm sure.
