New to Map Editing

Post by PotohBoothNZ
Hi, been using waze for more than a month and enjoying it.

I just recently discover that you can edit map in the browser and this is will suit what I do at work or in spare time.

Can anyone direct me the restrictions of map editor level. Like what can I do in each level.

I am trying to insert or creating a new road and it doesn't do. I have watched the whole tutorial video in youtube and this does not answer my question.

Anyone can shed some light?
Thanks.

Where do you edit? There are local community groups that can get you connected with the editors from around where you live, help you learn and assist with unlocks.

Hello and welcome to the fun!

Waze Map editing is fun, easy to start, difficult to master.

If you haven't yet, please check out the Waze Wiki which also holds our editing manual of sorts.

For creating and editing roads, please take a look at this page.

If you could also let us know which region of the world you are editing in, I'd be happy to try to see if we can facilitate getting you connected with your local editing team to get your editing skills up =).
