New Area Manager for Christchurch

Post by David_Merriman
Hi all,

I just wanted to introduce myself as a new AM for Christchurch and parts north. I've updated the Waze Area Managers spreadsheet with my details as well.

See you on the road,
David :)

yeah, I know what you mean. I've wanted to tweak some of those for a while, but I also wanted to get more editing 'miles' before I started breaking things, or treading on other's toes

Thanks for that Paul, I saw you'd been buzzing around town, and yes it was me you pinged the other day :)

I'll have a look at the southern motorway changes you made soon (in my copious free time).

I did a bit of driving over the week - hence a good score in wake for the week :-)
It can only mean better roads :)

Just spent a week in Chch - I think it was you I pinged on the road David-:)

From what I saw most of the double carriage way roads work really well. They conform to the rules/guidelines for using that layout including showing two distinct lines in the GPS tracks when you zoom out to 100m.

I did a bit of driving over the week - hence a good score in wake for the week :-) and a fair bit of editing. Had great fun driving some of the roads out t the south west of the city. Long straight rural roads many of which aren't yet on the map.

One particular addition I made is new new piece of the southern motorway. You might want to check it out David and see what you think. I think it will work well for the way the road is now and will of course need updating as the motorway work progresses. Especially the area at Curletts Rd.

Bit of both. I like mapping where I have driven to fix any problems or map new roads. I do sometimes map areas I haven't been too although when I do I put all the names, turn restrictions etc as best as I can.
