I was looking through some of the older posts in the AU forum and you had permalinked to that area in one post...through curiosity I explored the area and spotted that mistake :)

Level4 Update: Auckland (Lane 2,SH 1 - Northern Motorway)

Postby P-Diggs » Fri Aug 11, 2017 10:59 am

My Level: 1
Reason for request:

This segment is messy. Also appears one can move from on-ramp to centre lanes when this is not possible.
Can we please update?

Closure Auckland (Raleigh Rd)

Postby P-Diggs » Fri Aug 11, 2017 11:03 am

Can we please close this to west-bound traffic? I keep getting routed along here.

AT has the completion date of 31 Oct - https://at.govt.nz/projects-roadworks/r ... sruptions/

Alternatively, someone can just grant me lvl 3+ permissions. :D

SH2 Southbound Korokoro/Petone Exit restricted.

Off ramp exsists but turn restriction is Level 3 (I'm only Level 1). Despite going through a station carpark it is a quite busy off ramp used by people going to Korokoro, Cornish St Industrial Area, Petone and/or Station. Waze routes via Ngauranga and back to the opposite northbound exit adding significant distance if followed.

It's an odd one, it exits to McKenzie Ave and over SH2 To Peto One Road. It's used regularly throughout the day as the southbound exit for Korokoro. They messed up when the removed the Traffic Lights on SH2 at Korokoro. It should be allowed as it's signposted and everything as an exit for Korokoro/Petone Station.

Edit: Not suitable for heavy vehicles.

Request to close SH1 Taupri

Postby PeterEnsor » Mon Mar 07, 2016 8:03 am

Hi,

The southbound land of SH1 at Taupri has been closed for resealing and traffic has been diverted for 7-10 days. Can someone close the southbound lanes through to Horotiu as Waze is conflicting with the detours?

NZTA site (https://www.facebook.com/waikatoexpressway/?fref=nf) posted 4 March
The south-bound lanes of the Ngaruawahia section of the Waikato Expressway will be closed for 7-10 days from Monday while contractors carry out road works and apply the final seal. From 7am on Monday March 7 south-bound traffic will be detoured on to the old SH1 route through Ngaruawahia, joining the expressway at the Horotiu interchange. The detour will be signposted and is suitable for all heavy vehicles. North-bound traffic will be unaffected by the closure. The detour is part of three weeks of work on the section that started on March 1, with south-bound traffic down to a single lane at times.

edit: FOrgot to say that google maps is confirming that traffic is only flowing in one direction
