Thanks for the pointers. Unfortunately my drive there has now expired so I can't fix those errors in that area of the map. You are welcome to make those corrections.

But what concerned me yesterday was that my Android app wasn't showing the updates I did over 6 weeks ago.

What I only just discovered now is that selecting Settings->advanced->Data transfer->refresh map of my area does a map refresh and now my App does show the correct Matarangi street map.

I assumed the App would always show the latest map, not edits that are over 6 week old.

Should I need to do this refresh on the Andriod App?
How often should we need to run it?

i understand that caching the map would help App performance but i also would expect the cache would be periodically updated automatically.

refreshing the app is a problem I discovered many months/years ago.

From my understanding its works just fine if you if your drive the area

I've checked with the current WME map (not in edit mode) and the roads show correctly.
I have noticed there are 5 incorrect turns and 3 incomplete round-a-bouts in Matarangi.

The incorrect turns can be found by pressing SHIFT+Z, and the round-a-bouts need to have City / Street names set to 'none' for them to show on the map, or it will not route correctly. If you could fix those up, it would be great.

And yes, you would have received the points for the edits.

I've hunted through the wiki and it's one of those grey areas where it's not really covered.

In theory once tiles have been updated in an area and are not in your phone cache, the latest tiles you want to view would be automatically downloaded to your phone.
Sometimes I find that my local tiles update and sometimes I have to Refresh the map.

BTW, thanks to ispyisail for fixing up the round-a-bouts and junctions.
