I guess I've been culled. Oh well, would have been nice if they'd notified me. I've only done 31,000 edits...
Not so much retired as took a break from editing.
Getting back to doing more again though I don't expect to get back to the extent that I was editing over a year ago now.

A number of years ago (like 4?), I had been allocated a large area around me - might have even been the lower half of the South Island??? I stopped using Waze until recently, and had to start again at Level 1
Just looked at my forum join date. Was SIX years ago. No wonder I lost my significance!
Have reapplied, but the rules are slightly different now.
Struggling to address an issue in Christchurch and wonder whether "David Merriman" will be getting the alert I'm getting from a Waze Reporter at https://www.waze.com/en-GB/editor?env=r ... t=11781955 - it's needing a stop point added for an address.
Because of lack of mobile coverage, so many of the roads around my area are locked off to my editing. For example - I have tried to add "Moa Road" to the maps https://www.waze.com/en-GB/editor?env=r ... 2048.93522 but, because my mobile coverage dies between Cave and Pareora, it seems to fail to add the road to Waze, nor can I edit that area of the map because Waze doesn't think I've been there.
Can someone with editing rights to South Canterbury (I applied) please add Moa Road - it's visible on Satellite view and is a public road - not tarsealed.

I have spent days going to areas in my local region (Central South Canterbury) so that I can edit those areas and they're not showing up as drives - usually there are big gaps - particularly where there is no mobile coverage. I've tried frequently uploading the logs from Waze App, but new locations don't appear on the Editing map in the days or even weeks after! There are massive areas of the countryside in my area where I cannot make additions, change road types (to unsealed) and maintain changing road speed restrictions. Argh!
(Oh, any advice on how to get my iOS Waze drives actually appearing on the editing maps, particularly those outside mobile coverage, would be appreciated)

I wonder whether some extra AI cannot be added so that, obviously, if one travels from Geraldine to Fairlie then, despite their being no mobile coverage, surely SH8 is an obvious choice of route for the editor to have travelled.
Back in 2012 I recall having huge areas to edit. When did it change?
