Personally I would prefer to keep it all to the forums (open to everyone including new users to easily see and refer to), my only issue with them at the moment is the subscribed feature doesn't work correctly. eg. I am subscribed to the NZ forum, but only get notified of new topics one in a blue moon at which point I see there has been a lot of other activity.

But if we go down the google groups path, then I will subscribe, although a lot of it would end up being filtered so it doesn't get in the way of my other 1,000 emails a day.

The open and inclusive approach is good. The amount of editing I do has decreased over the past year and visiting the forums is less frequent too. I do still want to contribute and the Google Group may make it wasier (that was a typo but I decided to leave it :-) )to disseminate information to those interested.

Google groups is great, have just applied for membership as I don't subscribe to Forums. But I will now!
