You can try to clear the TTS cache (cc@tts) and try that route again. A ramp near isn't working right for some reason and I need to try that myself.

Ramp is named: Exit to US-11W S / Rutledge / Knoxville

TTS Expected: Exit to US Highway 11 double-u south (pause) Rutledge (pause) Knoxville

TTS Actual: Exit to US Highway West South Rutledge Knoxville (no pauses)

The "expected" form is working fine on other ramps.

I haven't driven through there again since I cleared the cache.

It is not. At least with no trailing period. Just pronounced "you-niv".

I have had first hand experience with Waze omitting the first word of a road name.

When navigating with a left turn from eastbound Central Expy to northbound De La Cruz Blvd here, the app omits the "De" and says "La Cruz Boulevard". I have not tested from any other direction of travel or from any other connecting segments.

Jane TTS mispronounces "accident" as oxident. "Watch out. Oxident reported ahead."

A couple more Jane TTS mispronunciations.

object : mispronounced as the verb with the same spelling, əb-ˈjekt

Mineta: mispronounced as ˈmā-nā-ta . This is part of the name of the international airport of Silicon Valley. https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=usa&lo ... s=57502307

Does this sound right?
No. Regular n rather than ñ, and neh like "never". And stress on the second syllable: mih-'neh-tah

If it helps, the name is Japanese.

Yes. You can create directions using the app that travel over the desired segment. Then with Android, you can open the *.tts files with an app like ES File Explorer. Use that app's own player to open them as audio. They are stored in \waze\tts\database\. Then \Jane\ if you're using the Jane voice.

I don't think it is possible to browse such folders with iOS.
