Strange Left Turn in W. Concord, MA

Post by cwdurst
I've been trying to figure out this UR for a few days.
I assume the user is complaining about a left turn instruction at a straight-ahead intersection.
What was Waze thinking? Any ideas?

Any help would be appreciated.

The UR is dated Feb 21 & the three segments were last edited on the 21st, so any changes you made on the 21st haven't gone live yet. They should have gone live this morning, but there was a problem & those tiles were rolled back to the ones from Feb 22 (containing edits till 2/20 11:07am UTC/6:07am Eastern/3:07am Pacific).

When you made the changes on the 21st, did you pull the intersection apart, delete any stray geometry nodes or anything? I just checked it and it looks fine to me now. If you made any changes to the map on the 21st I'd mark it solved and see what happens when the tiles go live on the next update)

This is the first time I've seen this UR, but I'm new to this whole process myself.

Yeah, I pulled it apart the other day but I didn't find any strange geometry nodes when I did.

OK, I'll mark it as solved.

If the city or street name differed between the two sections of Main St on either side of Conant, it would very likely generate a turn instruction to remain on the same road. As it stands, they are already identical, and I made some minor geometry tweaks to smooth out the angle at that intersection, as a precaution.

I think the BEST thing is for you to go drive it. I can't find anything wrong, with the intersection, so I don't quite know what's wrong, unless his GPS is slightly off. Everything looks good.

Is it a reoccurring UR, or is this the first time it's appeared? I'd mark it as SOLVED and keep an eye on it to see if it keeps happening.
